Groups

  • 8 week sessions; groups are ongoing throughout the year
  • Average 6 kids per group (8 child maximum); if space allows, children may join an existing group up until the 3rd session
  • Cost $275 – Please register at the front desk or by calling 770-433-2300 ext 10
  • All groups are lead by Niki Gori, MA, LPC, NCC

 Social Skills groups focus on learning and practicing age appropriate social and emotional skills needed for home, school, out in public and with peers.  These groups also focus on emotional regulation and awareness of how our emotions and behavior impact others.  These groups are appropriate for children with developmental delays, ASD, and even typically developing children who need a little extra help with social skills.

Adolescent and Tween Groups

The Girls and Boys groups focus on the social and emotional health of our adolescents and tweens.  These groups are geared towards adolescents  who are developing at an age typical rate but need extra support with building self esteem, strengthening coping strategies for dealing with conflicts with friends, classmates and bullies, and support with the challenges of “growing up.”

Both groups focus on the following while also including individual needs and concerns of each child in the group:
